Terms & Conditions


‘You’ refers to the individual attendee making the booking.

1. Reservation

To reserve your place on one our trips please complete the online booking form confirming agreement to our terms and conditions (including compulsory travel insurance) and submit it together with the non-refundable deposit specific to your trip.

2. Price

All prices are quoted in American dollars. While COWORKATION does everything possible to maintain our listed prices, if it is necessary to levy a surcharge or adjust the price due to currency fluctuations, COWORKATION reserves the right to do so, and notification will be given before the commencement of the trip.

3. Payment

I. Payments must reference your full name, trip location & dates. For instance: JohnSmithBaliOctober

II. Non-refundable deposit of EUR€100.00 is required upon booking to reserve your place.

III. Full payment is required 30 days in advance of the trip start date. Bookings made within 30 days of the start date must be paid in full at time of booking.

IV. If payment is not received by the due date COWORKATION reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit and allocate the reservation to another guest.

V. COWORKATION reserves the right to offer discretionary discounts and this does not affect the status of any guests who have paid the full price and no discount will then become due to them.

4. Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your attendance at a trip, you must notify COWORKATION in writing to [email protected]

Once we’ve received your notice, cancellation will take effect subject to the following:

i. If cancellation takes place more than 30 days prior to the trip start date, any payments made will be refunded minus your deposit.

ii. If cancellation takes place between 20 and 30 days prior to your trip’s start date, 50% of the trip price will be forfeited.

iii. If cancellation takes place less than 20 days prior to your trip’s start date, 100% of the trip price will be forfeited. Any amount forfeited, which has not yet been paid to COWORKATION by you, will be recovered from you by COWORKATION as a debt due and payable.

5. Health and Fitness Requirements

You must be in good physical and mental health to participate on the trips. You are advised to consult with a physician to ensure that you are in adequate health to safely participate in the trip and the practice of yoga. Medical and evacuation expenses will be your responsibility, so COWORKATION strongly encourages you to purchase travel insurance.

Additionally, COWORKATION and the trip facilitators reserve the right in their absolute discretion to refuse a participant the right to participate in a trip or activity on medical or fitness grounds. A customer must always stop and rest if he/she is feeling any pain or sickness and inform the teacher of any previous injuries. COWORKATION is not liable for any injuries to the customer in his/her use of our facilities or participation in activities.

6. Cancellation due to trip Booking Numbers

COWORKATION reserves the right to cancel any trip in the event that there are too few people booked in which case you will be given a full refund of any and all payments made to COWORKATION. You will not be entitled to claim any additional amounts or seek any compensation for any injury, loss, expenses or damage (either direct or consequential) or for any loss of time, wages or inconvenience which may result from such cancellation (including but not limited to visa, passport, flight, and vaccination costs.)

7. Changes, Postponement, Cancellation or Delay

i. COWORKATION reserves the right to make changes to any aspect of the trip if, in the absolute discretion of COWORKATION, it is necessary to do so due to conditions that are likely to be hazardous or dangerous or due to any other adverse or threatening conditions whether political or military or terrorist or otherwise or if an act of omission of a third party prevents the trip or an aspect of the trip being undertaken in accordance with your booking or for any other reason considered necessary by COWORKATION.

ii. If the designated teachers are unable to lead the trip for any reason, COWORKATION, in its discretion will enlist another teacher to lead the trip. In the event of any change, modification, cancellation, postponement or delay under this condition, you acknowledge that you will have no right of refund of the trip price in whole or in part and no right to claim compensation for any injury, loss or damage or other additional expenses incurred by virtue of the change, modification, cancellation, postponement or delay. COWORKATION also reserves, in its absolute discretion, the right to cancel any trip due to any government travel warning or advice, or any change in such warning or advice. In this event, we will do all we can to transfer any payments made to a future trip with COWORKATION. If this is not possible, travel insurance may compensate you depending on the circumstances.

iii. COWORKATION is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any cancelled trip, such as airline tickets, loss of work, and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip.

8. Property

The customer shall not use the property except for permitted use and shall not use the property for any offensive, noisy, dangerous, or illegal activities. The customer shall not do anything which may be a nuisance or annoyance to COWORKATION and its guests, staff or owners. The customer shall treat COWORKATION as they would their own home, taking care not to damage fixtures, fittings, furniture and effects.

COWORKATION reserves the right at its sole discretion to terminate use of the property or any of its facilities by the customer in the event of any breach of these terms and conditions. The customer will be required to vacate the property and COWORKATION shall not refund payment or accept any consequential liability damages or loss.

COWORKATION reserves the right to alter any facility accommodation or activity with good reason during the course of the trip.

COWORKATION cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage of personal possessions or valuables of the customer.

9. Travel and Cancellation Insurance

To join the trip you must have travel insurance. Please be sure that your insurance policy covers you for the full duration of the trip in respect to illness, injury, death, loss of personal items, cancellation, and curtailment.

9. Travel Documents and Vaccinations

It is you responsibility to learn about and obtain all required travel documents, vaccinations, etc. for travel to the country where the trip is taking place. COWORKATION is not responsible for any delays or cancellations due to clients lack of proper travel documents.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that he/she has all the relevant travel documentation and arrives at the airport in time.

COWORKATION can accept no responsibility for delay or cancellation of any flights, train, buses or other forms of transport not provided by us.

10. Photography

COWORKATION retains all copyright licence rights and sole exclusive ownership of the information, photographs and material displayed on its website. The material may not be modified, copied or used in any other way.

COWORKATION reserves the right to use photographs or videos from the trip for promotional purposes. By making a reservation with COWORKATION, you agree to allow your image to be used in such photography.

Any user of the website has to be 18 years of age or older and agrees to be entirely financially responsible for all charges and other fees arising from use of the website.

COWORKATION accepts no responsibility for keeping the website up to date and will not be liable for any loss by its failure to do so. We are not responsible for the contents of any links displayed on our website.

11. Force Majeure

If COWORKATION and the trip leaders are prevented (directly or indirectly) from performing any of their obligations under this agreement by acts of God, strikes, trade disputes, fire, breakdowns, interruption of transport, government or political action, acts of war or terrorism, acts or omissions of a third party or for any other cause whatsoever outside COWORKATION and the trip leaders’ reasonable control, COWORKATION and the trip leader will be under no liability whatsoever to you and may either cancel the trip or take any other action as specified in condition twelve.

12. Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge the possible risks and challenges associated with overseas travel and that it may involve potential exposure to injury and that in the countries and regions in which travel is undertaken, standards of accommodation, transport, health care, hygiene, safety and service provision may not be as high as those standards in your country of residence and may require flexibility and patience on your part.

13. Release and Waiver of Liability

In consideration of COWORKATION accepting your reservation you release, waive, discharge, hold harmless and agree to indemnify COWORKATION, its officers, its employees, its agents, its licensees, other representatives, trip leaders and the usage of the properties from all claims, actions or losses for bodily injury, emotional trauma, property damage, wrongful death, loss of services, loss of profits, as well as consequential, exemplary, indirect or punitive damages or otherwise which may arise out of or occur during your travel in connection with the trip or any activities conducted in conjunction there within unless caused by the willful negligence or wrongful act of COWORKATION and its employees. Regardless of the situation or circumstances giving rise to the claim, you waive any claims you have, or may at any time have, against COWORKATION and its employees, you agree, by accepting the additional inherent dangers and risks associated with the trip, not to make any claim against or seek any compensation from COWORKATION and its employees in respect to any personal injury, illness or death suffered by you or damage to or loss of property sustained by you as a result of your participation in the trip including without limitation, any extracurricular activities you may engage in during the trip, whether or not sponsored by COWORKATION.

In the event of a customer having any complaint then he/she will not discuss this with any third party and shall notify the COWORKATION manager as soon as possible.

COWORKATION shall not be liable for any failures beyond its control. This covers natural disasters, war, closure of airports, civil strife, accidents or failure to perform by third parties, including suppliers and subcontractors.

COWORKATION accepts no liability for loss, damage, injury or illnesses which may be received during the customers stay or travelling to and from a COWORKATION.

14. Changes to this document

COWORKATION reserves the right to make changes to this document.
